Go Old and Vintage!

Sometimes when I’m not at home; and I really want to give one of the photos I take a vintage old look!

I always go for this website; even when I have photoshop in front of me, I just can’t help it! I open the website and let it do the magic for me.

The effect produced on the website is just awesome, and I love it.

Early 1900s in Colour

In the early part of the 20th century French-Jewish capitalist Albert Kahn set about to collect a photographic record of the world, the images were held in an ‘Archive of the Planet’. The Stenoflex: A Darkroom + Camera in a Box

Fantastic! I just found this on Photojojo website. Portable Darkroom supplements and a pinhole camera!

A portable darkroom & camera all in one cleverly designed box

Designed and hand assembled in France, it’s a miniature photo lab that lets you shoot and develop a photo all in one clever box.

Just how clever is it? Shooting and developing only takes 3 steps. 1) Slip photo paper into provided holder and place in the box. 2) Expose the photo via a pinhole in the top of the box. 3) Steep the photo in the provided developer and fix.

Improve Your Photography With Art!

You can either improve your Photograph’s colours; or give them that vintage colour without using filters.

How does this work?

  1. Using Photoshop; Load a Classical/Vintage painting (or a photo you like) that you would like to match to.
  2. Load your Photo.
  3. Then we will do “Match Colour”

Samples:

Let’s test it:

– I will load this painting:

– Loading my Photo:

– Make sure you choose “your photo” as the active layer.
