Split Editing – Why do we need it?

Hey fellas! It’s been awhile since my last post, I’ve been busy lately with some projects, and I’ve been traveling to explore more and learn more..

Photography has more to offer if you are willing to give it some of your time, it will reward you with many awesome things to learn and discover..

Anyways……..

What is Split Editing?

Split a Photo into several sections, edit each section to get the most of it, then merge ’em all together to end up with amazing final result.

Final Result (Kalafati Beach, Mykonos) – Keeping the Rocks Tone and Sky Tone

I need to bring out the colour of the Sky, while keeping the Rocks Tone.

Editing the Sky:

Editing the Rocks:

The final result after merging these two images, would be:

Excuse the “not so sharp” photo, it has been taken from a video :D
