Cliplets – Cinemagraph for PC

So, I was looking for an app that allows me to create Cinemagraphs on PC and while I was searching, I came across this page of Microsoft:

  • Link – Cliplets Project

It is an app created for Desktop users, that allows them to create Cinemagraph easily. I love it!

also,

Microsoft Research Cliplets is an interactive app that gives users the power to create “Cliplets” — a type of imagery that sits between stills and video, including imagery such as video textures and “cinemagraphs”. The app provides a simple, yet expressive way to mix static and dynamic elements from a video clip.

Project – Cinemagraphs From Italy!

One of the projects I worked on, while I was in Italy, is to make Cinemgraphs of different things.

I’ve used my iPhone 5 to create these.

Here are the Cinemagraphs I’ve made during my vacation in Italy (Rome, Florence, and Milan):

Far Better Than 3-D: Animated GIFs That Savor A Passing Moment

Photographer Jamie Beck and motion graphics artist Kevin Burg may have finally found a way to elevate the animated GIF to a level approaching fine art, with their “cinemagraphs” — elegant, subtly animated creations that are “something more than a photo but less than a video.”

Cinemagraphs are still photographs in which a minor and repeated movement occurs. Cinemagraphs, which are usually published in an animated GIF format, can give the illusion that the viewer is watching a video.
