[How-to] Polar Planets – 360 Panorama – Photoshop

Yesterday I found myself a great parking lot which was empty and I thought (why not a polar planet?).. I grabbed my Tripod, started making scenarios and shooting.

Total images for this project were: 33 images.

Stitched and merged together using: Photoshop CS6.

How-to:

1- Stitch and merge your images using Photoshop CS6; (File > Automate > Photomerge..) and choose your images.

2- After the stitching and merging; here is the result I got:

3- After cropping; Flip the image Vertically (Edit > Transform > Flip Vertical):

4- Now go to: (Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates..)

5- After Cropping, and Rotating:

360-Degree Video Full-Circle?

That’s so great! While I was surfing the net I found this video; awesome just awesome. Recording a video 360-Degree would be a Kick***.

MakingView, a company out of Norway, has created a camera called the ViewCam, an ultra lightweight camera that can be mounted almost anywhere and take full 360-degree video.

The ViewCam is remote-controlled, with a 2.4GHz processor, has 160 to 224GB of internal memory and takes 4K x 2K equirectangular video at 25 – 50 fps.

Project – Parts Of Scotland in 360 View!

My last vacation was to spend 10 days in UK, 8 of them in Scotland.

I thought of starting a project that I shoot 360 view for things I loved in Scotland; to be honest I loved everything! Sadly, I didn’t make too many 3D’s.

Anyways, you can visit my profile on Photosynth to view all 360 views:

كانت رحلتي الأخيرة إلى سكوتلاندا – قررت أصوّر صور بانوراميّة (بزاوية 360 درجة) لأفضل المناظر التي شاهدتها، سواء كانت معمارية او طبيعية!

بملفي الشخصي في موقع Photosynth ستجدون الصور كاملة، للأسف لم ألتقط الكثير. لكن أتمنى أن تعجبكم :-)

Enjoy :-)
